2010 Bash Tournament Series Rules

Date: 03/13/2010 – 03/14/2010                                                               

Venue: Bluff’s Landing Marina                                                                                                                                                                  

 

  1. Teams can weigh-in three Trout, minimum 20” length. A ½ lb. deduction (8 oz.) will be given for each DEAD fish weighed in. No more than one Trout over 25” per angler may be weighed in. Any team bringing in more than two trout over 25” will be disqualified from the tournament. No exceptions.

 

  1. The weigh master will have the final say on eligibility of any fish brought in to weigh.

 

  1. All teams must check-in before leaving the dock and must leave in the order drawn by that team. If you do not check-in, you will be disqualified. If you are late for your starting position, you will be moved to the end of the line. No Exceptions.

 

  1. State and Federal Parks and Wildlife regulations will apply at all times.

 

  1. All teams must leave from specified dock, by boat, and return to the specified dock, by boat, for weigh-in. Trailering your boat during tournament fishing hours is not allowed.

 

  1. Both tournament anglers must be wearing a life jacket when big motor is operating.

 

  1. This is an INSHORE tournament therefore, you are not allowed to fish outside the jetties.

 

  1. Teams must fish in public waters accessible to public fishermen.

 

  1. Each team will consist of two team members and only the team members are allowed on the boat.

 

  1. This is an ARTIFICIAL LURE only tournament.

 

  1. Weigh-in time is 4pm on Saturday and 3pm on Sunday.  Your team must be checked in by the specified time each day. No Exceptions.

 

  1.  Any protests must be filed, orally or in writing, with the tournament director by the end of weigh- in.

 

  1. There will be a 100 yard rule between tournament boats, unless waived in.

 

  1. Team members must remain within eye sight of their partner at all times.

 

  1. Teams may not allow another boat to hold their fishing area on for any reason.

 

  1. All boats must fly the tournament flag provided to each team at the captains meeting.

 

  1. There will be no culling or sorting of fish once you team is in line for weigh-in.  

 

  1. Mutilated, or old fish will not be weighed-in. Team will be disqualified.

 

  1. There will be NO set boundaries for the 2nd 2010 Bash Tournament
