What Our Customers Say

“Hands down the absolute best in the business. The quality and attention to detail on their rods is unmatched. My favorite rod is the Carbon Mag. It is the first rod I have found that is the true do it all rod. As a full time guide I need top quality products that perform. Their shop has everything the serious angler needs to get the job done. They have great relationships with the best businesses in the fishing industry, and knowledge of everything they sell. This place is truly your one stop shop for everything!”

CAPTAIN KYLE JOHNSON

“Love my Waterloo Slam Mag. Awesome rod! Great blank and components...plenty of backbone to get em' in the net too. As a kayak angler we can be brutal on equipment and the HP Slam Mag holds up to the punishment! Great all around rod that can handle an assortment of different lures from tops to Corkies!”

DUSTIN NICHOLS

“Waterloo is the best in the biz! Caught a huge bull red, at least 35lbs and the rod held up fantastically. Not to mention, the customer service that Waterloo provides is top tier, stopped in the store, came out with a new collection of corkys and left with a smile on my face. Truly a family oriented company that’s founded on some gulf coast fishing!

Schuyler Larson

"I don’t even know what to say about the Carbon Mag other then it is incredibly light and sensitive, you just have to put one in your hands. The action is exactly as described a perfect blend of the ultra mag and the slam mag. It really is a rod that can do it all and do it all well"
